Teacher is of local domicile) receive a higher

salary than the Head Teacher: e.g. it is noted that

in the case of St. Paul's Girls' College, Dr. C. Woo

is on her maximum salary of $444 + Charge Allowance

of £150 making a total of £594. But when

Mr. C.P. Smith ie on his maximum he will be drawing

a total of £640.

(b) It is noted that the £150 Charge Allowance is

the same both for men and women, but the Burnham

allowances for Head Teachers are subject to sex

differensiation (vide paragraph 9 (d) of the Report).

(c) It is presumed, with reference to paragraph 7

of Part I that fees form the total income of the

Schools and that there are no endowments.
